Air Pollution Goes Down as Europe Takes Hard Measures to Combat Coronavirus

The European Environment Agency’s (EEA) data confirm large decreases in air pollutant concentrations, largely due to reduced traffic and other activities, especially in major cities under lockdown measures, including Milan, Bergamo, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon. Read more here 

What is COVID-19?

According to Wikipedia, Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The disease was first identified in 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei province, and has since spread globally, resulting in the ongoing 2019–2020 coronavirus pandemic.
